David was among millions of Chinese young boys who were inspired by and followed the Chinese football leagues since their establishment in 1994. He founded China Sports Review in 2008 and made friends with other sports bloggers through the project. He now works as a staff writer at Sports Illustrated China and plays football on a weekly basis at Chaoyang Park or near Laoshan Velodrome.
