Wuhan Zall chairman Yan Zhi has confirmed the signings of Senegalese defender Jacques Faty and Serbian striker Milos Stojanovic from his personal Weibo account, with the players to be registered when the summer transfer window opens on July 1.
Faty, 29, has won 12 caps for his country after switching nationality in 2007, having previously played for the France Under-21 side. Following a long career in Ligue 1 with the likes of Rennes and Sochaux, he has spent the past two years on the books of Turkish side Sivasspor.
A lack of playing time, though, brought a loan return to France with Bastia in January. However, with Sivasspor agreeing to release the defender from his contract a year early, he has chosen to sign a two-year deal with relegation threatened Wuhan.
Stojanovic, 28, meanwhile, was the top scorer in the 2012-13 Serbian Super Liga, finding the back of the net 19 times in 30 appearances.
His goals also helped his FK Jagodina side to a first ever major title this campaign, winning the Serbian Cup under now Dalian Aerbin manager Simo Krunic.
Stojanovic joins on an 18-month contract until the end of the 2014 season, with current foreign players Novak Martinovic and Bentley likely to make way for the new arrivals.
