By now, we’ve all come to realize that football’s a little different in China and, as if you need yet another example, the league holds an All-Star Game following the end of the season, typically featuring the league champions (Guangzhou Evergrande) against a team of the league’s top players. This year it’s hard to expect much from the match, which is to be played in Guangzhou tomorrow afternoon, as Evergrande will be far more focused on their weekend CFA Cup match in Guiyang.
Here’s this seasons 18-man All-Star roster:
Goalkeeper – Zeng Cheng (Henan), Deng Xiaofei (Jiangsu)
Defenders – Du Wei (Shandong), Wu Xi (Shenhua) Zheng Zheng (Shandong), Tang Miao (R&F), Dubic (Guizhou), Liu Jianye (Jiangsu)
Midfielders – Yu Dabao (Aerbin), Keita (Aerbin), Yu Hanchao (Liaoning), Lu Bofei (Jiangsu), Xu Liang (Beijing), Hao Junmin (Shandong)
Strikers – Danalache (Jiangsu), Yang Xu (Liaoning), Utaka (Aerbin), Yakubu (R&F)
