Emotions of the game

Football is a game of passion and emotions and last week in Chinese football we saw a lot of both. Here are some of the better pictures from the weekend…

Delirious joy
Gao Lin went mad, and so did his teammates, after his late winner secured Guangzhou Evergrande a second straight title.

Satisfaction
The East Asia players had a chance to celebrate their league title and promotion to the CSL in front of the home fans last weekend.

Shock and anger
Jiangsu’s Eleilson was stunned when the referee gave him a second yellow and sent him off, and also had some choice words for the Guoan players.

Disappointment
Shanghai Shenxin came up just short against Shandong Luneng, meaning they’ll still have to fight for their survival this weekend.

Sadness
See the image at the very top. Men rarely cry, and almost never do it in public, but the Henan fans were reduced to tears after seeing their club go down.

  1. Harden up Henan fans!

You try supporting Spurs for almost 4 decades. Your collective tears don’t come anywhere close to the cumulative knees to the groin (figuratively) of a Yiddo.
