CSL 2011 fixtures finally announced
Much to the relief of all followers of Chinese domestic football, the Chinese Super League 2011 fixtures were finalized on Friday – a mere seven days before the season itself kicks off. Better late than never though. The opening ceremony will take place at newly-promoted Guangzhou’s home stadium next Saturday as they host Dalian. Before that though, there’s four games next Friday night, including Shanghai Shenhua v Qingdao at Hongkou Stadium.
Below you can check our fixture database – every game, every team of the entire 2011 season. Just type the name of your team of choice into the search box and all games not involving your selection will be filtered out. Click on the arrows for more data – only 8 games at a time are shown by default, but you can change that also.
A few words of warning – the exact date and stadium of some fixtures have yet to be confirmed. This database wont be updated, so if you fancy checking out your local Chinese Super League team, confirm the details on the club’s website before heading to any game, or get a Chinese-speaking friend to do so for you. Odd and unexpected fixture alterations at short notice are commonplace in China.
