Celtic bargain over Du Wei
Shanghai Shenhua must drop their £800,000 (11.7 million RMB) price tag for defender Du Wei if he is to join Celtic, says boss Gordon Strachan.
The latest reports on the now long-running saga suggest that the Scottish Premier League club is interested in the 23-year-old but considers him an investment for the future, rather than an instant addition to its back four.
But, according to Xinhua, Shenhua owner Wu Jinan says the club have received a bid from Celtic, but it fell way short of their valuation of the star defender.
