Anelka’s Shenhua fan spat, a WEF exclusive of sorts…

The international media’s coverage of the Chinese Super League is slowly improving – thanks to who provided the UK’s Daily Mirror with an exclusive Nicolas Anelka story which was then picked up by media outlets all over the world.

TheĀ  infamous “Le Sulk” persona was again in the news earlier this week when the mis-firing ex-Chelsea striker’s clashed with a Shenhua fan after last Sunday’s Qingdao match.

Nic was up to his old tricks once more, leaving the pitch as soon as the final whistle blew and refusing the bow with the rest of the team, in front of Shenhua’s visiting supporters.

This is a regular habit of Anelka’s, despite him being captain, and one supporter, having splashed out time and money to make the 700-mile roundtrip to Qingdao, found it too much to bear following Shenhua’s shocking 1-0 loss, leading to an ugly after match confrontation, as the Mirror reported.

Shenhua’s online TV channel below shows the Shenhua players making a post-defeat of shame to their band of hardly followers – sans Anelka.
